Can anyone share some information on how long there clutch took to bed in and what charactersitic their car displayed with a new lightened flywheel and auto counter balance.
I recently got a new exedy hypersingle with lightened flywheel and auto counter balance and i have noticed that the car on idle slightly rocks with every turn on the engine like its harmonic balancer is out of whack
Any idea's? Has anyone experianced this only to find out something was re-installed wrongly?
i got the exact same clutch as you put in... quite a bitch
i just drove it as normal... but im a n00b.. didnt do anything special.. drove it a few hundred k's and off to Wakefield i went lol
i didnt have any idle problems at all tho

Marcus,
I've got the same kit as you there's no rocking ...
.. maybe it's a function of the lightened flywheel not compensating for the eccentric forces in engine rotation like the heavier stock one would .. ?

Yeah im guessing maybe the counter weight is wrong or put on wrong but then again how many different auto counter weights are there? And surely the installer lined the counter weight up with the key way??? who knows, you guys can check it out over the weekend cause its got me stumped
