hi all names peter, been on the site for a while now dont really post much though. thought i should post some pics of my car its a 1996 jap import with red leather front mount and an exhaust. looking at doing a serious stereo at the end of the year and then go crazy power next year.

my opinion but.. do performance first before stereo.. as long as it plays music be happy.. wot you got done to it so far??

Nothing so far only the cooler and exhaust. only reason i have chosen stereo first is because its a one time i pay some money and its done never have to touch it agian, performance on the other hand is gonna cost considerably more and take me a very long time to finish lol. plans are fresh motor extended port, twin turbo set up parrell, computer, 6 speed box, diff, feul system, with almost everything brand new, and thats just basically what i want to do lol

may i ask why you want to go 6 speed? From what i've heard most 6speeds are weak

and not everything has to be brand new.. most your parts you can get on here.. second hand but who cares.. jus means its worn in.. loll

i jus got myself apexi poddies for $150 wit new filters.. and computer everyone here would agree you go for the apexi power fc too..

all i got for a system is new 6x9s and thats all i need.. good base and loud..

but good choice on the paralell twins.. im thinkin the same.. everyone saying it good..

If you have done the exhaust and cooler i would be looking at a Power FC quick smart :D

with exhaust and intercooler u need the fc..
talk to SPII.. he might be able to hook you up with one for about 1k.. maybe a bit more.. but he told me when i got mine he'd be able to fix me up for 1k..

not everything has to be new i know but as much as i can afford it i will try to keep stuff new. as for the computer that i will proberbly add that b4 i do the stereo as it will cost me much less to do but i was thinking about going for a microtech computer. mainly becasue i know maztech where i get my car worked on are exceptionally good with them. anyways as for the stereo im pulling out the back seats as the are useless and i'll be turning them into sub boxes to house 2 mb quart 10 inch subs, mb quart 6inch splits in the front mb quart speakers in the back alpine duoble din dvd and 2 rockford amps 1 for subs 1 for speakers. should be pretty good had a simalar set up in my last car but this time i will be using higher range equipment.

How did you get a rego was it a personal import.

Thought 1992 - 97 could only be used for racing etc ....

i did not import nor did they guy i brought it of but it is a persoanl import acording to the plate that is on it, and yes you can only import them 6-7 for race use only unless its a personal import, the plates i brought for my last car just rang vic roads and they posted them out why do u ask?

lol yeha nah that was the first thing i looked into b4 purchesing the car i didnt want to buy it and then find out that i cant even drive it on the road
