This Thread will Be an Official Register of the Spirit R Models.

Easily the most collectible of all the RX-7s was the last 1,500 run-out specials. Dubbed the "Spirit R", they combined all the "extra" features Mazda had used on previous limited-run specials and all sold within days of being announced.

There are three kinds of "Spirit R":

"Type A"
Accounts for 500 models has a 5-speed manual transmission,
and is said to have the best performance of the three models.

"Type B"

Has a 2+2 seat configuration and also sports a 5-speed manual transmission, 500 of which were also made.

"Type C"
Is also a 2+2, but has a 4-speed automatic transmission
and 500 were made.

A specially Formatted Post will be made hopefully eventually 1500 times.

where the First Part is the Type the Number is the number from the Special Compliance Plate in the Engine bay and the Country it lives in.

Additional information will be provided voluntarily by the owners.

Titanium grey #714 is mine. Completely stock save for having a Jap Pioneer GPS headunit installed now with a shit replacement. And some Jap Mazda tollway thing that speaks to me in Japanese.
