Meh, just read about the Caterham Levante in Top Gear mag. Twin motorbike engine V8 that revs to 10,000 with close to a 1:1 power to weight ratio (500hp, 530kgs). Oh and they wont let you take delivery until you've done a 2 day driving course.

You almost never walk away from a street shunt in one of these.
Trucks can often not see you their mirrors are adjusted for minimum
car height ... and Bikes are higher than these.
If you like to be seriously hurt ... and run over by trucks get on it .....

I was going to say the same thing. Basically, while it looks fun, there isnt much safety with something like that.:p

that's why you can use that wonderful power to weight ratio and uber handling to "get on it" and just drive under and through the truck, like in the movies...
As for bikes, I would have that wind deflector made out of kevlar so that when you impact, it just deflects the bike and it's rider up and over the top of your birkin.
I think it all depends how you drive as well, if you are used to riding bikes and being on the look out for bad drivers (96% of the population) and do this 110% of the time, then the Birkin seems quite safe in comparison.
Still a risky vehicle but at the end of the day I could slip in the shower can kill myself on the soap holder so you gotta live to your fullest eh ;)

Two Yamaha bike engines, 5 valves per cylinder EACH engine, custom mated together with a Quiaffe gearbox that took ages to design due to the unusual power band of the custom engine and also due to the extremely light chassis being easily thrown out of control by too clunky a gear change etc.
