if so, count me in on the festivities would be good to catch up with some FD's and take a look at some peoples ideas of how to combat a few things im finding issues with [eg. pod setups/positioning] etc like that and have a good run with my own kind xD

He He nah i rolled past in like 5th :cool: then gave it a boot onto the hiway :D he was drilling the other guy on the bike for like 20mins i reckon hehe ..

as running nice and crisp had a really strong run home :)

nah its like a 4 min drive down mains road (heading to calamvale) from sunny macas, on ur left, its a CENTRO shopping centre? has coles and nandos, ppl start to rock up around 9 and head off at 10 to 10:30

anyone keen for a track day at qld raceway?? i know outlaw13b is keen as. nothing to freak out about. you won't blow your motor if its tunned and maintained properly. you can thrash your car as much or as little as you like. don';t worry about being slow i'm certain i'll be the slowest there. they don't start everyone off from a grid so essentially you're only racing against your own times. there isn't too much to crash into only. all ya need is a helmet and long pants and long sleeved shirt, shoes... change your brake fluid if it hasn't been done for a while (something like Motul RBF 600 FACTORY LINE fluid is perfect and ain't too expensive). make sure you have plenty of material left on your brake pads. if they're mazda items or some cheapo brand minium upgrade to bendix ultimate (they work great for me). an oil change too doesn't hurt. for those of you with stock radiators you'll be fine. on your last lap cruise along to let it cool down but that goes for everyone.

at QR you'll need a AASA license ($55 a year) and prepaid entry is $99 or on the day $129. you get usually 3 sets of 7 laps and they'll give you a print out of your times. next saturday arvo sprints is the 5th of April

you'll have plenty of fun and you'll wonder why it took you so long to get out there. while cruising to maccas carparks might seem like the most fun you can have in your rx7 once you head to the track you'll quickly find these beasts have a purpose
