http://www.nengun.com/image/catalogue/original/nengun-0942-00-cusco-twin_metal_cluctch.jpgCusco Twin plate, will deliver. My mate has one on his WRX 750bhp and its still feels like new he says after many runs.. The best part is its a pull type clutch so no push conversion is needed. It comes with flywheel and ring gear as well if you buy new, not sure about the counter weight, but this clutch will be an awesome upgrade for any rx7.

Very expensive tho...

I have a EXEDY Twin Plate that is a full face non street friendly, track
style unit they make a good clutch.

Factor in what you want out of the car, good street habit, don mega launches ?

Some good posts on clutch's already, I don't think there are any Cheap good clutches seems to be something that you pay for and get a result for your
outlay.

Remember a clutch is a consumable so 2 cheaper ones will end up costing
you one good one pretty quickly.

im after just a cheapy for the time being to handle up to the max twins are capable of pushing... for now... something exedy i guess cause thats whats in it atm, but its slipping like a whore and not grabbing at all once secondary kicks in.

just a replacement for now, ill be buying a 2g OS GEIKEN later to support up to 600bhp as the final clutch replacement [which is also rebuildable with clutch plate kits]

When you say oil under the engine tray where abouts exactly? Is it towards the rear of the engine near the mounts? If you say your clutch almost caught fire it could be the rear oil seal leaking.. unless you have had some work recently done to the turbos and oil lines and they neglected to change the copper washers which fuck out pretty easily once they are torqued up and loosend again they are pretty much useless unless you over torque the bolt to stop it from leaking or it could be a faulty gasket.

they took off my pods / manifold etc to get to the heat shielding on the stock dump pipe to rip it off and replace it with the full smb exhaust i got installed
since then i have had oil pissing out of what looks to be the manifold [middle of it looks to be a joiner or someshit if u look side on from drivers side]... and its pissing oil...

my clutch didn't catch fire, tis this problem that filled my cabin with smoke...
WHITE smoke and shitlaods of it... scared the fuck outta me ig ot oil all over the driveway now...

i really dunno wtf he did that caused this...

is it the manifold thats just above the dump pipe bolts?

I would start by checking the oil feed and return lines to and from the turbo, then check the oil metering pump lines they sit on top of the housings, those lines flow very little oil but there might be a problem there, worst case scenario would be your turbo have gone bad and are pissing out oil into the dump pipe. The manifold wouldn't be the problem, I'm pretty certain its the oil lines that supply the oil for the turbos, the bolt has to be loose there is no other reason why it would be pissing out oil. Check the oil return line on the secondary turbo its located on the end plate bottom side close to the right engine mount then check the feed lines you have to find the source of the leak, check if there is any oil in your coolant.

Those Might be the problem areas there also check the other side of the turbo I cant remember exactly Where the feed lines the top 2 I have highlighted might be the coolant lines.. let us know how u go.

I see you mentioned you have air pods on your car....does your factory blow off valve vent back into your pod setup or is it not connect ie comes off the y-pipe and vents to the atmosphere? Reason I ask is your primary turbo might be fucked and pissing out oil which when the blow-off valve opens sprays oil onto your dump pipe which gets burnt on your dump pipe therefore the white smoke...it's a possibility. Simple check - have a look at your factory blow off valve (look at both of them actually ones brown the other is black) if you see oil in the vent (or stick your finger in there) then could be the problem.
